New Furnaces

Selecting the right heating system for your home can be a difficult decision. One of the most important considerations is energy efficiency. Depending on your wants and needs, we can recommend either a furnace installation or a heat pump system. Whichever type you decide on, our sales associates can help you choose a heating system that saves energy, effectively circulates heat, and meets your budget requirements. Once we find the perfect fit, we can take care of the entire installation process and even suggest some helpful maintenance tips to extend the life of your heating system.

If your existing furnace is 10 to 15 years old, the efficiency rating is probably around 55-60% AFUE. AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency), measures the amount of heat a furnace actually delivers inside your home. Many of our new high efficiency furnaces deliver up to 97%. That means 97 cents out of every dollar you spend for heat actually gets delivered into your home. This means a new high-efficiency furnace could deliver 50% improvement in efficiency or more. And unlike many older, conventional furnaces, our Energi Air Elite furnaces incorporate 2 stage technologies. This helps eliminate the temperature swings that can result from abrupt stops-and-starts of the furnace by operating at a low heating stage the majority of the time. And if extra heat is needed on those really frigid days, this furnace will automatically shift into high heat quickly and efficiently warm your home to the desired temperature.

Heating Replacements

Regular maintenance results in a heating system with more efficient and dependable performance and a longer lifetime for your furnace or heat pump system. On average, furnaces and heat pump systems last about 10 to 15 years before replacement becomes a more financially sound choice. If you aren’t sure if it’s time to start considering replacement, let our technicians come assess your system. We make recommendations based on likelihood of needed repairs, energy efficiency, and other cost-related factors. If you are considering upgrading your system, give us a call and we can discuss your options.
